​Attorney Amrita K. Lamba is a first generation American, as her family came to the United States as immigrants.  Her background allows her to bring an added understanding and appreciation required when dealing with immigration cases.


Ms. Lamba began her collegiate experience at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. While at Rollins College, Ms. Lamba earned a Bachelors of Art in International Business, with a Minor in Spanish. During her undergraduate studies, Ms. Lamba also spent considerable time studying abroad in Madrid, Spain. 

After graduating from Rollins College, Ms. Lamba attended the Crummer Graduate School of Business in Winter Park, Florida. During her time at Crummer, Ms. Lamba spent various semesters abroad studying and interning for international companies in Korea, Argentina, and Italy. Ms. Lamba graduated from Crummer in 2007 with a Masters in Business Administration, with concentrations in International Business and Management.

Following her graduation from Crummer, Ms. Lamba spent time working as a legal intern at a prominent Central Florida criminal defense law firm before enrolling in law school. Ms. Lamba earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Barry University School of Law. In 2009,she went on to complete a comprehensive law studies program in Cairo, Egypt, an opportunity that enriched her understanding in the areas of International Criminal Law and International Human Rights. 

After gaining admission to the Florida Bar in 2011, Ms. Lamba began her legal career with a reputable South Florida law firm specializing in bankruptcy and foreclosure defense. Thereafter, Ms. Lamba joined an Orlando based immigration firm as an associate attorney in early 2012. During this time Ms. Lamba represented individuals and businesses with their immigration needs. Examples of types of cases she handled include: removal defense, family based petitions, asylum, and investment visas.

Ms. Lamba practices immigration law throughout the entire United States. She is also licensed to practice in Florida.​
